Goat #1’s first assignment of the school year was to write some suggestions for a class pet.  I’m just going to let his homework speak for itself:

Can you say OVERACHIEVER…?

I’m guessing the child of two Type A parents doesn’t have much choice but to be so thorough.  Anyone else having fun with the back-to-school stuff?

***Not sure what I’m doing wrong, but the link above seems to go to a page with YET ANOTHER link on it, called “Teachers Pet” so just click that if you get there, too. Trust me, it’s worth it.

Can I be a parent helper in his class – I want to play with all those animals! I am so proud of my godson!

that’s so cute!
Where do they pick up puma, sloth, muskrat, piranha? Gosh, kids are so much smarter than I was!
And I have learned that bears are not to be confused with bear cubs nor are chicks and chickens.

And goat was #10!

Honestly, I think all those animals are a product of not letting him watch TV until he was almost 2, and then only letting him watch “Stanley” on the Disney Channel, LOL? That “Great Big Book of Everything” was quite the encyclopedia 🙂

I vote for otter. Every class needs an otter.

My dad laughed himself silly over “slug.”? Everyone has chosen something different, though, which I love. Obviously, the “fits in a small cage” requirement was either left out of this assignment, or (more likely) my son completely disregarded it/didn’t hear it.

@smalltown- my favorite animal should no more have to deal with a class of young children than he should be soaked in crude oil.

So tell me the truth… Is the goat names NoaH?

Comment by Marielle

No, Goat’s name isn’t Noah.? Which is good, since there are 2 Noahs in his class right now.? We went with something less popular the year he was born, and we’ve been glad about that.
